Jan & Ron (did she get that shot??)

9 pickleball players came for pickleball today. It turned out to be a pretty hot morning. The sun was shinning bright and very little breeze. Both of our courts were exposed to the sun pretty quick. The players were Joanie, Jan, Ron, Sharon, Carol, Johnny, Bob H., Ken and I.

Ron was into court diving this morning. A real belly dive he did and still missed the ball. It must be too much watching of the French Open. Ken wants him to start coming early so he can practice his belly dives. Ha!

We're wondering what happened to Bob T. today. And we missed Ralph who is recovering from his leg infection. Hope he will be well soon from that.

The bad news today was that when Ken and I started driving out of the park to come home we found out that we had a screw in our tire. So we found some shade in the park and Ken put the spare on the car. Fortunately we were able to get the tire fixed this afternoon.

We're hoping to play on Thursday again as the courts could be wet on Friday morning. Hope everyone can make it. Lynn
